Creating Opportunities

Our school is small but punches well above its weights when it comes to opportunities. Our children do not miss out on anything and benefit from the extra value attached to size. Over the past few years this has only increased, particularly in the performing arts and in sport. On Friday a selection of our stage 3 students participated in the Cantabile Concert held at Sydney Opera House. This is the first time that we have participated in the concert and it was well worth the wait. It was a spectacle and thrilling experience that won't be... Read more

Join the Band!

In 2015 when I joined St Peters Public Schools, it was commented to me that one of the reasons parents did not want to come to the school was lack of musical opportunities. Some parents mentioned that while there were some musical opportunities, there was no dedicated music program such as many schools benefited from. Likewise others mentioned that there was no band program at St Peters. As I looked into how we could improve this situation, I made it part of our school plan to improve creative arts and sports opportunities for all students at... Read more
